NO REFUND POLICY

1. Introduction

This No Refund Policy applies to all services provided by Oarex Technology Ltd herein referred(“Oarex”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). Oarex Technology Ltd operates an online digital platform by the trade name “OAR Exchange”that facilitates the exchange of cryptocurrencies, digital gift cards, payment of utility bills and other supported digital assets for fiat currency or other digital assets to Naira

Oarex does not provide trading, brokerage, investment advisory, portfolio management, or market prediction services. The role of Oarex is strictly limited to facilitating the exchange of digital assets through its platform.

By accessing or using the Oarex platform or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this No Refund Policy.

2. Finality of Transactions

There are NO REFUNDS forall transactions conducted through the Services are final. Oarex does not offer refunds under any circumstances once a transaction has been initiated, confirmed, or processed.

By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that all exchanges and related transactions carried out through the Oarex platform are irreversible and non-refundable.

Users are solely responsible for verifying all transaction details before initiating or confirming any transaction on the platform.

3. Nature of Oarex Services

Oarex operates solely as a platform that facilitates the exchange of digital assets. Oarex does not:

  • • trade digital assets on behalf of users;
  • • manage or invest funds for users;
  • • predict cryptocurrency prices or market movements;
  • • provide financial, trading, or investment advice.

All decisions relating to the purchase, sale, or exchange of digital assets are made solely by the user at their own discretion and risk.

4. Sale of Digital Assets to Oarex

Where a user sells digital currency, digital gift cards, or any supported crypto assets to Oarex, the obligation of Oarex is limited to ensuring payment is made to the user in accordance with the transaction details provided and approved at the time of the exchange.

Once payment has been duly executed to the bank account or payment details supplied by the user, Oarex shall be deemed to have fully discharged its obligation in respect of that transaction.

Such transactions are final and non-refundable.

5. Payment to User Accounts

Where Oarex is purchasing crypto assets or digital gift cards from a user and payment is to be made in Naira or any other fiat currency, the user warrants and represents that the bank account provided for payment:

  • • belongs to the user;
  • • is the user’s original and lawful account;
  • • is authorized to receive the payment.

Users are responsible for ensuring that the payment details they provide are accurate and valid.

6. Third-Party or Unauthorized Accounts

If it is discovered, suspected, or reasonably determined that the account provided for payment:

  • • does not belong to the user;
  • • is not the user’s original account;
  • • is linked to fraud, misrepresentation, chargeback risk, identity theft, money laundering, or any unlawful activity;

Oarex reserves the absolute right, without notice, explanation, or recourse, to:

  • • reverse or recall the payment where possible;
  • • redirect the payment to the originating source;
  • • suspend the transaction pending further verification.

The user shall have no claim against Oarex arising from such action where it is taken in good faith for fraud prevention, AML/KYC compliance, or regulatory reasons.

7. Chargebacks and Payment Reversals

Users agree that they shall not initiate or attempt to initiate any chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal through their bank, financial institution, or payment provider in respect of any transaction conducted through the Oarex platform.

Where a user initiates a chargeback or payment dispute after receiving the agreed consideration, Oarex reserves the right to:

  • • suspend or terminate the user’s account;
  • • recover the disputed amount through lawful means;
  • • report the activity to relevant financial institutions or authorities;
  • • pursue legal remedies to recover any losses incurred.

The user shall be fully liable for any costs, losses, damages, or administrative expenses arising from such chargeback or reversal attempts.

8. Incorrect or Unauthorized Information

Oarex shall not be liable for any losses arising from the user’s provision of incorrect, incomplete, unauthorized, or third-party account details.

Users acknowledge that any errors made during the submission of transaction details are the sole responsibility of the user and do not qualify for refunds or transaction reversals.

9. Crypto Price Volatility

Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile and prices may fluctuate rapidly within short periods of time. Users acknowledge that once a transaction has been confirmed, the agreed exchange rate at the time of the transaction shall apply and shall not be adjusted due to subsequent price movements. Oarex shall not be responsible for any loss resulting from market volatility, price changes, or delays caused by blockchain confirmations or network conditions.

10. Blockchain Network Delays and Technical Issues

Cryptocurrency transactions rely on blockchain networks and third-party infrastructure that are outside the control of Oarex. Oarex shall not be responsible for delays, failed transactions, or errors caused by:

  • • blockchain network congestion;
  • • delayed confirmations;
  • • network outages or disruptions;
  • • incorrect wallet addresses supplied by users;
  • • third-party wallet or exchange failures.

Users acknowledge that such circumstances may delay the completion of transactions and shall not entitle the user to refunds or compensation.

11. Fraud Prevention and Regulatory Compliance

Oarex maintains internal compliance procedures designed to prevent fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, and other illegal activities. In accordance with applicable laws and regulatory obligations in Nigeria, Oarex reserves the right to:

  • • suspend or delay transactions pending identity verification;
  • • request additional documentation for AML/KYC purposes;
  • • refuse or discontinue transactions suspected to involve unlawful activities.

Where transactions are restricted due to compliance or regulatory requirements, such actions shall not entitle the user to any refund or compensation.

12. Suspicious Transactions and Mule Accounts

Oarex strictly prohibits the use of mule accounts, intermediary accounts, or accounts provided by third parties for the purpose of receiving payments related to digital asset exchanges. Where such activity is suspected, Oarex may:

  • • suspend or terminate the transaction;
  • • report the activity to relevant financial institutions or authorities;
  • • block the user from further use of the platform.

Oarex shall not be liable for any losses arising from actions taken to prevent fraud or unlawful financial activity.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Oarex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of its services. In any event, the total liability of Oarex for any claim arising out of or relating to the use of its services shall not exceed the total transaction fees paid by the user to Oarex within the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

14. Force Majeure

Oarex shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • • acts of government or regulatory authorities;
  • • banking system disruptions;
  • • cyberattacks or system failures;
  • • internet outages;
  • • natural disasters;
  • • war, civil unrest, or strikes.

During such events, transactions may be delayed, suspended, or cancelled without creating any liability for Oarex.

15. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for:

  • • verifying transaction details before confirming transactions;
  • • ensuring that the assets being exchanged belong to them and were obtained from lawful sources;
  • • providing accurate payment and account information.

Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in transaction delays, suspension, or cancellation without entitlement to refunds.

16. Policy Updates

Oarex Technology Ltd reserves the right to modify or update this No Refund Policy at any time. Any revisions will become effective immediately upon publication on the Oarex platform or website. Continued use of the services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
